Deprived households, particularly those including children and elderly, are targeted through periodic distribution of food packages. Emphasis is always placed on improving the living standards of people living in these households and alleviating their risk of poverty.
Such fund for European Aid to the Most Deprived, better known as the FEAD, which was co-financed by the European Union programme has now come to an end on 31st December 2023 and a similar new project is being proposed.
Families will be supported through the distribution of free food packages and the social support necessary.
Eligible families will be informed accordingly once the new project is implemented.
A new project co-financed by the European Social Fund + entitled Food 4 You Support Project, will start implementation later on this year. More information in this regard will follow shortly and the entitled beneficiaries will be informed accordingly.
